The mortgage industry is just beginning to really move into the computer age. Twenty years ago when I worked for the Veterans Land Board in Austin Texas, loans took a minimum of 3 to 4 months from application to close. Now in many cases we can have a full loan approval within 24 hours. There are some programs that we use that will actually give you loan approval in as little as 5 minutes! We at JP are proud of our accomplishments over the years and continue to make every effort to stay on the cutting edge of our industry. In 1999 I am proud to say we were part of an effort that closed and funded over 6,200 loans!
